When you pay our hourly rate, you are getting more than just our expertise. We strive to provide the best value and most efficient use of your money. Our hourly rate includes full psychosocial history, assessment, and creative interventions for support and validation. We get paid by you only when we are providing services for you.
Due to the unique nature of our interventions many of our clients are able to achieve their goals more quickly than with traditional therapies. This enhances the cost effectiveness of our services.
We understand that many families have financial limitations. We strive to make our services accessible to all clients through various methods such as grants, insurance reimbursement, and other alternative funding sources.
Service Rates
Please call to discuss service rates. Cash, check, and credit card via Paypal are accepted for payment. Payments via Paypal are expected prior to each scheduled appointment. Cash and checks are expected at the time of service.
Cancellation Policy
Please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule.
Failure to provide 24 hours notice will require you to pay a fee.
Private Insurance
Private Insurance companies do reimburse for professional counseling and/or music therapy services based on medical necessity. Success depends on diagnosis, scope of insurance coverage, and an assessment to determine medical and/or behavioral necessity. Other coverage is considered on a case-by-case basis, varying from state to state and from insurance company to insurance company.
We are in the process of working directly with insurance providers. At this time we will provide you with an invoice that you can submit directly to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
Medicare & Music Therapy
Music therapy is identified as a reimbursable service under benefits for Partial Hospitalization Programs.
Listed under Activity Therapy, use HCPCS code G0176.
Music therapy must be considered necessary as an active treatment by meeting one of the following:
1. Physician's prescription
2. Necessary for individual's illness / injury
3. Has identified goals connected with a written treatment plan
Medicare Prospective Payment System (PPS)
Music therapy is not billed as a separate service, rather are included with PPS reimbursement for the facility.
